My husband and i Will be staying in kauai, will we be able to travel to Maui ,Lahaina on a super ferry. if so how much will it cost and how many hours? thank you

I will probably stay on the west side of the island... are the sites all spread out through the island?? Or, am i good with a car 3-4 days out of my 10 day stay??

I have booked a condo in Maui, Polynesian Shores, and paid a $500 deposit. The rest is due 60 days before we go, and there are no refunds. By all the reviews I've read, it appears to be a reputable condo, but this policy worries me. I don't travel enough to know if this is common? The deposit I've heard of, but the WHOLE amount is due 60 days before we go, and the entire amount, (over $2000) is non-refundable. Has anyone had firsthand experience with Polynesian Shores? It looks to be on the up and up...

We were in Maui in April and met a couple who told us of a magazine that they get that posts deals on condo rentals for significant savings. I have since forgot the website and want to order the magizine to book another trip. I remember having to pay a fee for the book (it was under $50 i believe.) Thank you for the help!

I have a friend who has a time share in Maui and have been invited to go in about two weeks. I was not expecting this trip but it is free and my parents used their airline miles to get me a free ticket. I will be there one week. I did not plan this trip so I have not saved a lot of $ and I do not know what to expect. Are there any activites that are low cost or free? What are some things I should bring? Will I be able to hike & snorkel without paying a tour guide? Any suggestions are appreciated. WOW, Thanks for all the suggestions, I cant wait, I'm leaving on the 13th.
